Help Me Fight Cancer!
I'm catching up on my blogs & editing as I sit here listening to the thunder storm outside...which I LOVE...we don't get real thunder storms very often in the SF Bay Area!
Anyway the real reason for this blog is that on May 1st I will be participating in the Wildflower Sprint Triathlon as member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. This Sprint Triathlon is a .25 mile open water swim, 10 mile bike ride and a 2 mile run. This is my first endurance race of any kind and I am SO excited to begin training for this race and to raise money for this wonderful cause. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin Lymphoma and Myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers and for the memory of those who have lost the battle. These people who are so courageous in their fight are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - A CURE!!!

Maternity Session
Shortly before Christmas, I had the pleasure of photographing mother to be Mariana. She and her family welcomed a beautiful baby girl just nine days after our session! Mariana was a trooper and we had a great time during her maternity session. A BIG thank you to her wonderful neighbor who invited Mariana's daughters over for a visit after I photographed them! Here are some of my favorites from her session.
In the next couple weeks I will be returning to visit Mariana and her family for Lucia's very 1st portrait session ... I can't wait!

Lake Girls
Had an amazing shoot a couple weeks ago with 2 adorable girls! These two were hands down the easiest kids to photograph ever! We were up in the Auburn area in their backyard, which is about 2 acres...it was a bit humid and all of our allergies kicked in towards the end...but the location and famlily couldn't have been more wonderful!

Baker Beach Shoot
On Monday, which was beautiful, I took my nieces & nephew to Baker Beach in SF for Spring portraits. I'm so glad we went that day because the rest of the week has been yucky! Here are some of my favorites from the afternoon....
